Ladbrokes Shares R12 Upgrade Success Story in New On-Demand Webinar with InsightSoftware.com

London, 18th November , 2013 – InsightSoftware.com, the providers of the award-winning InsightUnlimited™ reporting, budgeting and reconciliation solution for Oracle E-Business Suite and JD Edwards, today unveiled a new on-demand webinar highlighting Ladbrokes’s successful re-implementation to Oracle R12. The webinar is co-hosted by Ladbrokes Group ERP Reporting Manager, Jason Conroy, and Julie Bowen, UK Business Development Manager for InsightSoftware.com.
 
Ladbrokes, a world leader in online betting and gaming, initially turned to InsightUnlimited to help fill the gaps of the standard reporting tools provided in Oracle 11i in 2008. With InsightUnlimited, end users were able to quickly access data directly from Oracle and deliver real-time answers with drill down functionality to the business without needing to rely on IT to build FSG and Discoverer reports.
 
“Previously users tried to access the same information, but found they often got different results. We implemented InsightUnlimited and as a consequence FSGs and Discoverer were almost immediately phased out. More time is now spent answering questions than reformatting data in spreadsheets. Everyone has access to the same information and all users can answer their own questions. We now have a single version of the truth,” said Jason Conroy, Group ERP Reporting Manager, Ladbrokes.
 
When the time came for Ladbrokes to upgrade to R12, InsightUnlimited was the only reporting tool needed to ensure a seamless migration with minimal downtime. As part of the project, Ladbrokes also implemented Project Accounting, a notoriously difficult module to report over without the correct tools. Ladbrokes was working to a very tight schedule, but with the help of InsightUnlimited, the project was completed within the nine month timeframe.
 
“The great thing about InsightUnlimited is you can continue to report over 11i and then map another connection to R12 during the UAT testing. Because of this, users never lost access to their data during the nine-month project and we were able to easily switch over to the new system on our planned go-live date,” concluded Conroy.
