When he was approached to design a close friend’s wedding dress, Mouret was inspired to create an intimate bridal collection.

The collection will now consist of nine beautiful styles that each offer a different aesthetic, so there really is an option for every bride. Roland has draped luxurious fabrics, including lace, crepe and silk in the creation of his new styles.

Speaking about the new dresses, Roland Mouret said: “This new addition to The White Collection 2014 allows me to further explore the world of that unique day in a woman’s life. Whilst still keeping close to my draping folded and fitted figure I worked to challenge myself with intricate laces.”

The five existing bridal styles are joined by Bella, Coppia, Ella and Mirah. The collection will be available from 8 Carlos Place and a limited selection of specially chosen retailers including Net-a-Porter, Printemps (Paris), David Jones (Australia), Vakko (Turkey) and Kleinfield (New York).

The four brand new additions to The White Collection by Roland Mouret for 2014 are as follows:

Bella, Flower Lace, £3,950
Coppia, Daisy Organza, £3,300
Ella, Double Wool Crepe, £2,600
Mirah, Geometric Lace, £2,800

Notes to Editors:

The Roland Mouret fashion brand (19RM Ltd) is a joint venture between Roland Mouret and Simon Fuller’s XIX entertainment. Formed in August 2006 as “RM by the designer Roland Mouret” it followed Mouret’s 8 years of critical acclaim within the global fashion industry. In September 2010 rights to the ‘Roland Mouret’ name were acquired by the venture and in March 2011 the first Roland Mouret store was opened at 8 Carlos Place, Mayfair, London, in the form of a “maison” with atelier and HQ on the premises.

Mouret has become recognised for the use of draping and for the “perfect” fitted dress, including the iconic Galaxy, Moon, Titanium and Pigalle styles. 2012 sees the launch of the Roland Mouret shoe and bridal collections as well as the expansion of its successful sunglasses line. Further global expansion is planned for 2013, after three consecutive years of strong double digit growth.
