Zen Fertility Welcomes Expert Julie Chang Back to Clinic; Now Accepting Insurance

Zen Fertility Center is ending the year with two big changes - Julie Chang, expert in the field of fertility acupuncture and owner and founder of Zen Fertility Center is returning to the clinical side. The Center has also begun accepting all insurance plans that cover acupuncture treatment.

“Acupuncture, especially acupuncture to treat fertility and women’s issues, is my passion, and after spending time in the administrative side of the business, I am excited to return to the clinical setting,” said Julie Chang, owner and founder of Zen Fertility Center. “I look forward to moving back into a more hands-on role with my patients as a way to provide them the best service and care possible.”

Julie Chang has been practicing acupuncture since 1995. Her passion is to educate women on safe, natural options that effectively address the diverse healthcare needs of women and children. Due to her extensive experience in helping women and men overcome fertility challenges, she has been featured on San Diego’s local news channels, including ABC, NBC, CW, and Channel 4 SD. She also trains acupuncturists in fertility acupuncture and how to integrate acupuncture’s best practices with Western medical treatments to obtain the most optimal results. She received her Master in Traditional Oriental Medicine, summa cum laude, from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, and her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from University of California, Los Angeles. She is accredited through the California Acupuncture Board and is a member of the American Fertility Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Resolve: The National Infertility Association.

Zen Fertility Center is also currently accepting all insurances that cover acupuncture treatment. Patients simply need to present their insurance card during their first visit and the staff will verify acupuncture coverage and bill accordingly.

Currently, appointments can be made at Zen Fertility Center during the following times:
Monday 9:00am-7:00pm;
Wednesday 9:00am -3:00pm;
Thursday 9:00am-7:00pm;
Friday 9:00am-1:00pm;
Sunday 10:00am-1:00pm.
