Visual Intelligence to be Featured Speaker and Exhibitor at Houston Area GIS Day 2013

Visual Intelligence is a featured speaker and exhibitor at the Houston Area GIS Day event on November 15 on the campus of Texas Southern University. In addition to being a showcase for industry professionals, the event gives the public the opportunity to learn about the latest Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology and its impact on everyday life. GIS Day is also a major educational event attended by hundreds of Houston-area students that come to learn about GIS and careers in this growing geospatial field.
 
Houston-based Visual Intelligence will not only exhibit in the expo area of the event, but CEO and President Dr. Armando Guevara will be a guest speaker and will also lead an educational seminar for students who attend the event. Dr. Guevara’s presentation to professional attendees will discuss the future of oblique and 3D mapping for city planning and management. His seminar for students will focus on the use of next-generation geospatial technology and how students can use them in careers such as in oil & gas, mining, geospatial engineering, urban planning, environmental science, architecture, construction and engineering sciences among other industries.
