2013 Santa Paws Drive Shelter Nominations Now Open

Deerfield Beach, Fla., October 22, 2013 – Nominations are now open for 2013 Santa Paws Drive shelters. Animal lovers from all over the world can nominate their favorite shelter or rescue organization at SantaPawsDrive.com from now until Friday, November 1, 2013.  These must be no-kill, non-profit registered organizations.
 
Now in its fifth year, SantaPawsDrive.com is the first-ever online toy and treat drive dedicated to changing that and delivering holiday cheer to dogs and cats still waiting to be adopted. In the past four years, the Santa Paws Drive has raised approximately $45,000 in toys, treats and donations for 24 shelters worldwide.
 
Six rescue groups will be chosen based on need and nomination note. Selected shelters will be notified by November 11, 2013 and then the donation phase begins!
 
The goal of this year’s Santa Paws Drive is to raise $1,000 in cash donations for each one ($6,000) plus enough toys and treats to make sure each animal at each shelter receives a gift. The donations will be divided between the shelters and shipped off in giant gift packages to the lucky dogs at cats at each one in time for Christmas.
