SAN DIEGO, California, August 8, 2006 — Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), a leading provider of imagery solutions for visualization, mapping and government markets, and Pictometry International Corporation, the worldwide leader in digital, aerial oblique imagery and measuring software systems, today announced the availability of new 3D modeling products for Geographic Information System (GIS) professionals. The new offerings combine the 3D modeling and geospatial product expertise of Harris with the visually stunning, aerial imaging data from Pictometry, creating a more realistic and impressive 3D viewing solution. The products are available in a variety of formats including the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) multipatch formats, which provide accessibility via ESRI’s ArcGIS Explorer. The announcement was made today during the ESRI User Conference, being held August 7-11 in San Diego.

ESRI conference attendees can view demonstrations of this new technology in both the Harris booth (#303) and the Pictometry booth (#214). Other joint product offerings from Pictometry and Harris on display include 2D ortho mosaics, digital elevation models and true ortho mosaics. Pictometry’s industry-leading software enables users to easily access up to 12 different oblique (at an angle) views of any property, building, highway or other mapped feature. The software also enables users to derive measurements directly from the oblique imagery, such as distance, height, elevation and total area.
