Test Drive the New Note at WKB Nissan

Nissan’s second-generation Note hatchback has been causing a stir among car industry observers since its debut appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in March. WKB Nissan are pleased to announce that an example of the new model is now available for test drives at our Waterlooville dealership.

The Note offers a choice of 79bhp and 97bhp petrol engines, as well as an 89bhp 1.5 litre turbodiesel capable of returning just 95g/km in CO2 emissions. A CVT automatic transmission is available on the larger of the petrol units, providing smooth power delivery on city streets and motorways alike.

At 2600mm, the lengthy wheelbase provides excellent stability, as well as giving a luxurious amount of legroom to both front and rear passengers. The Note also boasts a number of ingenious ways in which to increase storage space. Aside from the maximum 1,332 litres of luggage room when the rear seats are folded forward, the car provides a nine-litre glovebox, a height-adjustable boot floor, and flexible rear door hinges to help with loading and unloading.

An accomplished performance and excellent ride quality are accompanied by impressively low running costs and the “Safety Shield” assortment of active protection measures including Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning and a Park Assist feature – all operated by one 360̊ camera. The Tekna specification of the Note also offers the NissanConnect infotainment system which provides satellite navigation, information on nearby points of interest, and entertainment functions such as a USB port and iPod connectivity.
