TrainACE is holding a single-day cyber security summit, named P0WNAG3, in the Washington D.C. metro area to discuss emerging offensive and defensive cyber security concepts. The conference, which will take place on November 6, 2013 in Greenbelt, MD, will feature a number of presentations with top industry panelists to discuss threat intelligence analysis techniques and capabilities, as well as mobile application hacking.

TrainACE and n2grate Government Technology Solutions, who collaborated for a free Advanced Penetration Testing seminar in July, will be working together again to host this mini-conference. The summit is scheduled to run all day, with time in the morning and afternoon for two sessions dedicated to threat intelligence, featuring a handful of panelists within each session. The presentations will also feature live demonstrations from prominent figures in the threat intelligence community. The panels will cover traditional analysis models as well as successes and challenges from in-house threat intelligence programs. Another presenter will cover mobile application hacking in the afternoon session of the conference.

In addition to the cyber security presentations and demonstrations, there will be a catered lunch break in the afternoon and a happy hour at the end of the event. “We’re incredibly excited to host this day-long conference,” says Ralph P. Sita, Jr., CEO of TrainACE. “The knowledgeable line-up and social breaks provide a valuable balance between learning and networking, and will definitely make for a memorable experience at the summit.” P0WNAG3 by TrainACE will take place on November 6th. Registration will open at 8:30AM and happy hour will end at 7:00PM. Pre-registration through the website is required.
