Denver, CO  -  Northstar Investment Advisors has promoted Cynthia Sack to Portfolio Manager. In her new role, Sack supports Northstar’s portfolio management systems, provides assistance with reporting protocols and oversees equity trading for the firm. She also works one-on-one with clients and invests client portfolios based on the Northstar philosophy of growing dividend income.

A longtime member of Northstar’s Investment Committee, Sack served as a senior portfolio management associate before her promotion. She has been a part of the Northstar team since the company’s founding in 1995. She began her career in the financial industry at York State Bank & Trust in Nebraska, and also worked at Kirkpatrick Pettis, a brokerage firm in Denver.

“For the past 18 years, Cindy has done an incredible job helping to build the firm and working with clients. She has been a key contributor to Northstar’s success and we are excited to see her grow and thrive in her new role,” said Northstar President Fred Taylor.

Cindy graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in history and received her law degree from the University of Denver in May 2011. She recently passed the Series 65 Investment Advisors Law Exam, and is currently pursuing certification as a Financial Planner.
