HARRISBURG, Pa. August 2 – The housing market is finally back on the rise after many years of depreciation and lack of customer confidence. The demand for houses is expected to rise significantly for the next three-to-five years: 980,000 housing starts are estimated for the year of 2013.

For many housing construction companies this is great news for their inventory that was previously built and has been sitting on the market for months, however many of these companies are not in a position to build the number of houses demanded by the market. Many residential construction companies can only support moderate (21-22%) housing growth, but if the market grows faster than that they do not have the resources to support the growth. Why is this?
