Bombardier, the world’s leading business aircraft manufacturer, will showcase its leading business jet product portfolio at the 10th annual Latin American Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (LABACE) at Congonhas airport in São Paulo, Brazil from August 14-16, 2013. Bombardier will present a Learjet 45 XR, a Challenger 300, a Challenger 605 and a Global 6000 aircraft on static display.

“We’re delighted to once again attend LABACE in full force with an impressive product line-up,” said Fabio Rebello, Regional Vice President, Sales, Latin America, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “This past year has been very exciting for us at Bombardier and we look forward to sharing news on our newly launched products, such as the Learjet 70, Learjet 75 and Challenger 350 jets with our current and prospective customers in the region.”

Bombardier forecasts that the Latin American market will account for some 2,300 business aircraft deliveries over the period of 2013-2032, which is broken down into 1,000 deliveries between 2013 and 2022, and 1,300 deliveries between 2023 and 2032. It is forecasted that the fleet of 1,675 business jets at the end of 2012 will increase to 3,085 aircraft by the end of 2032, equivalent to a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of three per cent1.

Putting our customers first locally, globally
Bombardier is committed to putting its customers first by offering the highest level of support – as close as possible to their operational bases. As part of this commitment to customers in Latin America, Bombardier opened a business aircraft Regional Support Office (RSO) in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2011, which is staffed by an RSO Manager who oversees two Field Service Representatives. The RSO is complemented by two Customer Support Account Managers (CSAM), a parts depot and Authorized Service Facilities (ASF) for the region.

To ensure that its business aircraft customers receive the latest information on their aircraft, Bombardier will be hosting a regional customer briefing during LABACE on August 14 and 15 at the Congonhas Auditorium. Customers will benefit from a two-day interactive and informative event that will feature platform-specific updates for all Bombardier business aircraft models.

Bombardier will continue to explore opportunities to expand its support network within the region for its Latin American customers.

Learjet 45 XR aircraft: When compared to its closest competitor, the eight-to-nine passenger Learjet 45 XR aircraft flies faster and farther, with more passengers*. The jet’s passenger cabin area is approximately 15 inches (38 cm) longer and features the only double-club seating configuration in its class, making it an ideal product for charter and fractional operators.

Challenger 300 aircraft: This first true super-midsize aircraft offers transcontinental range and superior long-range cruise speed, with eight-to-10 passengers. It can fly São Paulo-Caracas and São Paulo-Quito non-stop with eight passengers and NBAA IFR reserves, and its superior airfield performance allows it to operate out of 5,000-foot (1,524-m) runways with ease*. The Challenger 300 jet offers the best performance and value in its class combined with a dispatch reliability consistently over 99.7 per cent – this aircraft has exceeded customer expectations since its entry-into-service in 2004.

Challenger 605 aircraft: The revered Challenger 605 jet builds upon the legacy of productivity, quality and reliability of its predecessor, the peerless Challenger 604 jet. Leading its market share segment throughout the world, the Challenger 605 aircraft features one of the widest stand-up cabins of any large category business jet available today and can soar six passengers 4,000 nm (7,408 km) from Geneva to Montréal*.

Global 6000 aircraft: The Global 6000 business jet features the largest cabin of any purpose-built corporate aircraft – offering more cabin volume and more floor space than its closest competitor.
