· GSA 1200 E Professional – particularly robust saber saw with new, convenient SDS tool-change system for fast saw blade replacement

· GSA 900 E Professional – compact, handy saber saw with special rotary handle for also working in hard-to-reach areas

With the GSA 1200 E Professional and GSA 900 E Professional models, Bosch is launching two new saber saws onto the market. They are designed for different applications. The GSA 1200 E Professional is a powerful and robust saber saw for the toughest applications on the construction site; the GSA 900 E Professional is compact, handy and suitable for many different kinds of work.

With a weight of only 3.7 kilograms, the GSA 1200 E Professional offers high levels of torque thanks to the 1200-watt motor. All you have to do is turn the Bosch SDS saw blade changing system and the saw blade used is ejected. The new saw blade can be inserted and clicked in with one hand.

The new ball bearing-mounted tumbler drive of the saber saw is based on the tried and tested technology used in Bosch Hammers. The robust tumbler mechanism made of tungsten carbide absorbs shocks perfectly, ensuring a long service life – even under extreme conditions. The lifting axle is particularly well sealed against water and moisture, which also extends the service life of the power tool. The accelerator switch is used to set the infinitely adjustable stroke rate to suit the material you wish to saw.

Another advantage is the three-stage adjustable and steplessly swivel-mounted saw gauge for the cutting depth. To ensure that the saw always fits comfortably in your hand, Bosch has equipped the handle and housing with a particularly soft rubber coating. The four meter long H07 rubber cable with ball joint guarantees the necessary freedom of movement for the user. When the work is completed or interrupted, the machine is simply hung up on the integrated metal hook.

GSA 900 E Professional for more freedom of movement
The versatile GSA 900 E Professional has a rubber-coated grip zone that can be rotated 360 degrees directly in front of the saw blade holder. By means of a simple turning motion with the hand, the saw blade can be variably positioned. This enables the professional to also saw in hard-to-reach areas, without having to change the work position of his entire body. Therefore, this saber saw, weighing only 3.4 kilograms, offers considerably improved freedom of movement when working compared to established models. The saw blade is also changed via SDS without tools on the GSA 900 E Professional.

The saw blade holder on both saws is advantageous for overhead work. It allows for the saw blade to also be used when turned 180 degrees. Accelerator switch, steplessly swivel-mounted saw gauge, softgrip coverings on the handle and housing, hang-up hooks and four-meter H07 cable are standard on both saber saws.
