Efficiency Begins with Quality at Windings Inc.

To ensure motors and generators run efficiently quality parts must be used in the manufacturing

WEBWIRE

New Ulm, Minnesota, United States, Date, Year – Windings Inc., a privately held company headquartered in New Ulm, Minnesota, with production facilities located in New Ulm wants to emphasize that to have efficient motors and generators the manufacturer must insist on quality parts and materials. The basis of any quality motor or generator is only going to be as good as the materials it is built with. With many businesses trying to save money it is important not to skimp on materials.
Windings Inc. appreciates the fact that their clients want to save money. To help with this, whenever possible the engineers and employee owners will offer suggestions to reduce manufacturability costs. There are many materials available that customers may not have thought about that can be substituted in stators and rotors without compromising quality. Windings Inc can also save money for the client without sacrificing excellence because they manufacture full units of both motors and generators, a “one stop shop” approach. Additionally, specializing in low to medium is not something all manufactures do.  This gives clients an advantage of not having to pay extra for a smaller order.
Windings Inc. vision is to grow the value of the enterprise while being remarkable. The quality found in the stators, rotors, and motor/generators builds are the highest they can be because of the hand work that goes into each one. This hand craftsmanship also brings affordable pricing to the customer.
About Windings Inc.
Windings Inc. was established in New Ulm in 1965 by J.W. McKinney. Upon McKinney’s retirement in 1983, Windings Inc. was sold to R.D. Ryberg, the Company’s current Chairman. In 1989, 1991 and 2005 the New Ulm facility was enlarged and upgraded for added operations. In 1998, Windings Inc. formed an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) for a planned purchase and transition of Company stock to the employees of Windings. The higher sense of responsibility that comes with employee ownership has made Windings even more responsive to customer needs and encourages innovation to bring greater value to its customers. In 2008, the company became 100% employee-owned. The current president/CEO of Windings is Jerry Kauffman.
