Roxio Demonstrates Support for New Interactive DivX Media Format; New Technology Creates DivX Videos with Interactive Menus

HANNOVER, Germany -- March 11, 2005 -- Roxio, a division of Sonic Solutions(R) (NASDAQ:SNIC), the leader in digital media software, will today demonstrate technology to be used in forthcoming products that feature the new DivX 6 media format. DivX 6 offers a combination of high-compression, high-quality, menus, multiple audio tracks, subtitles and other enhancements, and is designed to enable a true interactive experience for DivX users.
