Ford Notifies Nyse Arca Of Intent To Withdraw Listing

DEARBORN, Mich., July 27, 2006 - Ford Motor Company has notified NYSE Arca, Inc. (formerly the Pacific Exchange) that it intends to withdraw listing of its shares of common stock on NYSE Arca in order to avoid dual regulatory oversight and dual listing fees.

Trading of Ford common stock on the facilities of NYSE Arca will still be available on an unlisted basis. In addition, Ford common stock will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange and certain exchanges outside the U.S.
