CINCINNATI, July 27, 2006 — Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) today announced that its Videotek® TVM series of precision test instruments with integral LCD displays has been chosen by Game Creek Video for the company’s latest high-definition (HD) initiatives — the upgrade of its INTREPID mobile unit to accommodate HD signals and the new, all-HD truck it is currently building for Fox Sports.

Game Creek Video has purchased nine Videotek® TVM-900 multiformat HD/SD-SDI signal analyzers as part of the HD upgrade of its 53-foot INTREPID mobile production truck. Two Videotek® TVM-950-E multiformat HD/SD-SDI signal analyzers, each with an advanced audio analysis option, have been ordered for the new Fox Sports truck, which will be used to provide HD coverage of NASCAR racing and NFL football this year.

“We purchased the Videotek® TVM series test instruments for the versatility and broad functionality they offer,” said Paul Bonar, director of engineering for Game Creek Video. “When we were evaluating the market to prepare for our latest HD projects, the Videotek® product offered a number of specific functions that no other scope at the time could perform.”

Game Creek Video provides a wide variety of mobile units to meet industry demands from simple closed-circuit corporate events to the largest, most technically complex shows. The company’s mobile units have provided service for events such as the World Series, the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals and the NBA All-Star Game, the Masters and the Kentucky Derby.

“As the mobile production market continues to thrive, Harris has focused on delivering practical, HD solutions to meet the particular requirements of this market segment,” said Tim Thorsteinson, president of the Harris Broadcast Communications Division. “With its advanced analysis tools and compact, half-rack configuration, the Videotek® TVM series is ideal for mission-critical, mobile applications.”

With 100 percent digital signal processing technology, the Videotek® TVM series provides accurate, stable display of single or multiple Waveform, Vector, Gamut, Audio, Picture, Timing and Data Analyzer functions in quadrant or full-screen views. Capabilities include advanced analysis tools, an extensive alarm set with peak level reporting. Dolby® metadata, EIA-608, 708 closed caption, Teletext and XDS data are decoded and displayed as well. Remote interfaces include 10/100BaseT Ethernet and USB ports, which support SDI frame-capture and transfer, and also provide mouse control. Unique to the Videotek® TVM-950 is its ability to display and evaluate up to four input sources, in up to four different formats, simultaneously.

The Videotek® TVM series offers a user-friendly interface featuring illuminated front-panel controls, direct access to all control features and presets, a streamlined, context-sensitive pop-up menu structure and an ultra-quiet cooling system, with a user-configurable platform design for easy field upgrades. Full digital implementation and automated testing provisions virtually eliminate manual adjustments during set-up and parameter changes. Options include HD/SD Eye Pattern, additional HD/SD-SDI, SD-SDI or analog composite inputs, eight channels of analog, AES/EBU and embedded audio processing, with CineSound® Surround display, Dolby® Digital and Dolby® E decoding.

Harris has gained significant momentum in the mobile production market, with its products providing support in the newest HD mobile units at high-profile sports and entertainment events around the world. Its Leitch servers have been providing instant replay for NFL telecasts for years, and superior slow motion was added to the NEXIO™ HD server specifically to support sports coverage. The NEXIO™ NewsNet™ system has also been optimized for sports editing. Harris mobile production customers include All Mobile Video (AMV), MIRA Mobile Television, New Century Productions, Shook Mobile Technology, Mobile TV Group and Touring Video.
