WEBWIRE

(TORONTO, ON) – Citytv announced today Liza Fromer, Co-Host of “BT-BreakfastTelevision”, Toronto’s Number One Morning Show, has decided to resign her position, effective immediately.

“Co-hosting BT has been the most rewarding experience in my professional career; it has been home to me for the last five years. The decision to leave was not an easy one to make, but with all the changes in my life and with the baby, it was the right one for me at this time,” said Liza Fromer.

“It really is like losing a member of the family, but we wish Liza well and I sincerely hope we can work together again soon,” said Co-Host Kevin Frankish.

Citytv is also pleased to announce that Kevin Frankish has signed a deal that will keep him with the morning show for another four years. Kevin has been the central figure of the “BT” team since joining in 1994.

“BT” has become my second family...our viewers are our extended family. I can’t think of anywhere else I would want to be for the next few years than right here" said Co-host Kevin Frankish.

“Kevin has been the anchor of the BT family for well over 10 years now. We’re thrilled that as we move forward, as the show evolves, we have Kevin at the helm of Toronto’s Number One morning show,” said Stephen Hurlbut, Vice-President, News Programming Citytv and Vice-President and General Manager, CP24.
