ZOOM Airlines and KLM Egineering & Maintenance sign up for Boeing 767 C-checks

SCHIPHOL, 25 July 2006 – ZOOM Airlines and KLM Engineering & Maintenance (KLM E&M) signed a five years exclusive contract for C-checks on the 767 fleet of ZOOM Airlines. The Canadian Airline has four 767’s, and will expand their fleet to six 767’s in the coming year.

The estimated value of the contract is EUR 5 mln. The maintenance activities will be performed at the KLM E&M maintenance facilities at Schiphol.

Vice President TechOps ZOOM Airlines Mr. Rashwan Domloge says: “We are very pleased to have KLM E&M perform the C-checks on our aircraft. We are very satisfied with the service they provide and the commitment they have shown on our engine maintenance. KLM has performed outstanding service for the last year on our CF6-80C2 engines. The performance and dedication is why we decided to ferry our aircraft to Schiphol for maintenance.”
