Recognized for their award-winning productions of musicals, dramas and comedies, NTC was recently nominated for10 SFBATCC 2012 Awards, all from Carl Jordan’s two shows, “Noises Off,” and “Nunsense.” NTC has been producing quality theater for Bay Area audiences for more than 90 years. At long last, NTC has obtained its own theater space, back in Novato, at 5240 Nave Drive. NTC encourages the local Hamilton neighborhood and theater lovers in local neighboring communities to be part of Novato history by attending the 1st show produced in the new theater, and support local arts.

The NTC 2013-2014 Season Schedule The Lion in Winter, by James Goldman, Aug. 30 - Sept. 22; Gypsy, by Jule Styne, Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents, Oct. 18 - Nov. 10; The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, Feb. 14 - Mar. 9; Next to Normal, book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt produced in association with Theater At Large, Apr. 4 - Apr. 27 and As You Like It, by William Shakespeare,May 23 - June 15.

Through this year of homelessness, not only did NTC produce award nominated shows, but found its way to the City of Novato for help, and now have a city owned warehouse for a least 2 years to store all of their assets; they signed a long lease, bought real theater seats, and now it’s only weeks away from opening a new live theater performance venue for Novato residents, and for performance groups around seeking a stage on which to perform.

As one reporter said of NTC, “This semi-professional theater company deserves a standing ovation for persistence. ”Please go to www.novatotheatercompany.org for information about the 2013-14 Season, auditions, box office info, membership, making donations, volunteering, and theater rental information, or call 415-883-4498 with any questions.  Press and media inquiries contact: sandra@seandassoc.com or 415 887 9230.
