ActiveRain Real Estate Network Moves Member Data Into Google Base

Bellevue, Washington July 21, 2006---The real estate industry’s first and largest social network launched a new service today that feeds member data into Google’s new content submission and search database, Google Base.

The ActiveRain Real Estate Network is a free social network devoted to helping real estate professionals connect with each other and promote their businesses on-line. Currently in beta, Google Base is the latest method for submitting data for use on Google’s network of search tools, including Froogle , Google Maps and Google’s web search.

The Real Estate Network is now feeding the data for members who have been active in the last 15 days into real estate services section of Google Base. This is an ongoing service that will be delivered to members free of charge.

Feeding member data into Google Base, enhances a member’s on-line presence, making them more visible to those needing real estate services across the U.S. Members have already spoken up about results. “ I want to mention that my ActiveRain profile shows up as #4 (at Google.com) for some of my search terms” wrote in Richard Johnson a real estate agent on The Network.

As part of its ongoing services to members, The Network is constantly developing new ways to help members connect and enhance their on-line presence.
