Invicta is excited to announce the new Mazda6

Invicta is pleased to announce the addition of the all-new Mazda6 to its line-up of vehicles. The Mazda6 launched on 25 January, and to celebrate this, a highly successful weekend-long event was held at Mazda dealerships across the country. Now that the event has passed, it’s the perfect time to book a test drive – and see why the Mazda6 is a must-have for anyone looking to invest in a family car.
 
The exterior of the Mazda6 gives a sporty yet sophisticated impression, with an aggressive front end flowing to angular headlights at the back. The new concept is known as the “KODO – Soul of Motion design”, and is so good that Mazda have decided to adopt it as the basis for future Mazda cars as well. The design is inspired by the cheetah, which represents power and agility. This translates to the ride of the car as well – lightweight materials mean that the vehicle is more agile and responsive than previously thought possible.
 
Interior-wise, the Mazda6 doesn’t disappoint, with the backlit instruments and clearly laid out control scheme creating an air of elegant futurism. Both driver and passengers will be happy with the amount of legroom provided, and comprehensive safety features make peace of mind standard in the 6. Airbags, Smart City Brake Support and the award-winning Rear Vehicle Monitoring System have all contributed to the Mazda6’s five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
 
The Mazda6 is available to buy as a Tourer or Saloon, and it comes with a selection of engines – 2.0-litre petrol or 2.2-litre diesel. 0-60mph is achieved in 10.5 seconds or less across the range, and a top speed of 139mph can be achieved in the diesel saloon. The engines are not just powerful, though, as recently implemented SKYACTIV technology means that the Mazda6 delivers superb fuel economy, with the Saloon version capable of 67.3mpg. It’s this outstanding efficiency that has earned the 6 the What Car? Car of the Year 2013 Ultra-low-carbon Award.
