Interior Design and New Home Model Merchandising Leader, Lita Dirks, Delivered the Goods on 2013 Design Trends at 3 Speaking Appearances at This Year’s International Builders Show

Leading interior design and model merchandising expert, Lita Dirks, played a significant role at this year’s International Builders Show, sharing innovative ideas on design and lifestyle adjustments in the way people live.  Her message reached hundreds of housing industry attendees from around the country and the world.  The IBS conference hosts thousands of builders, developers and residential building industry professionals from all over the globe.  It is the industry’s premiere event where leaders and associates go to see exciting innovation in new products and ideas. They enjoy networking opportunities, and, through many educational sessions, gain vital knowledge to help advance better design, planning and sales in home building.
 
In one of the most popular IBS program sessions, Ms. Dirks contributed as one of fifteen select professionals from the housing industry’s leading architects, builders, planners and designers.  During a fast-paced, standing-room-only session, each shared easy-to-implement design ideas that could be used to update, renew and transform home building in 2013.  Using an array of drawings and photos, Lita Dirks, along with the multiple speakers, showcased the newest design trends, products and strategies to capture today’s new homebuyers’ attention and make sales.
 
Lita Dirks also moderated and spoke on another popular program session entitled, “Everything Including the Kitchen Sink: Innovative Kitchen Design Ideas.”
Lita shared the platform with Architect, Dominick Tringali from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Their focus was trends and relationships and the change in importance and function in today’s kitchens.  The two explored the latest kitchen design concepts, products and materials that add value, comfort and style to this ever-important home space
 
Lastly, Dirks represented the kitchen program in the Design Studio at IBS on Trends Day. The Design Studio was one of 6 “Centrals” established for IBS participants as a more intimate place to go where the focus is on trends, challenges and solutions through more intimate educational exchanges and networking.
