30th Annual Care Affair Event Benefits CURE Childhood Cancer and the Tri Delta Foundation

Atlanta, GA – February 4, 2013 – Fighting childhood cancer is the primary goal for guests at the 30th Annual Care Affair Event, http://www.care-affair.com. The gala fundraiser on March 23, 2013 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, raises money for CURE Childhood Cancer, http://www.curechildhoodcancer.org/, in support of their mission to conquer childhood cancer in our lifetime.
 
Hosted by the Tri Delta Atlanta Alumnae Chapter since 1983, http://atlantatridelta.com/, the annual Care Affair event is an evening of dinner, live music and exciting auction items including weekend getaways, fine jewelry, restaurants, spa, and entertainment options, all to benefit CURE and the Tri Delta Foundation. Last year’s event raised $82,000, and Atlanta Tri Deltas have raised over $1.8 million for CURE in the past 29 years.

CURE Childhood Cancer is an organization whose mission is to end childhood cancer in our lifetime by providing research funding, education, and support to patients and their families. Half of CURE’s resources are dedicated to research into cures and targeted therapies for children with cancer. CURE also supports cancer patients and their families and provides innovative programs that assist frontline caregivers of affected children.
 
Since 1975, CURE has raised millions for cutting-edge research at Emory University School of Medicine and the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
