20 years in Christian books and pioneering ministry celebrated as Sovereign World Ltd and The Christian Trust join forces.

The recent acquisition of Christian book publisher Sovereign World Ltd by The Christian Trust on 7th April 2006, under the management of Ellel Ministries International, means that Sovereign World and its’ many authors gain a new world-wide sales network through Ellel Centres globally as well as new direct sales opportunities to Ellel’s substantial in-house list.

It also provides a solid foundation for the publication of a developing list of new books on aspects of Christian Discipleship and Healing from both newer and established authors. Ellel Ministries International is committed to the same Biblical ethos which has hallmarked Sovereign World Ltd as a mission organisation, serving the local Church worldwide with their publications, and is excited at the opportunities that this new publishing era provides.

In addition to selling good books across the world, Sovereign World will also be pleased to hear from potential or experienced new authors whose writings endorse the Word and Spirit foundation of the publishing list.

Internet Developments

Perhaps even more exciting is the new owners vision to pro-actively harness the Internet to open new markets globally for proven Christian books of integrity and quality. Wherever people can access a computer – from South America to South Korea, from Australia to the USA, from Israel to Iceland, from Thailand to Taiwan, and a hundred other countries besides, Sovereign World books will be sold.

To facilitate such a vision Sovereign World will soon be publishing an on-line catalogue and opening a major new on-line Christian book store to promote their titles. Enquiries are also welcome from wholesalers, distributors and retailers who may wish to benefit from Sovereign World’s broadening reach by partnering with The Christian Trust in these new arenas.

As such a brand new Sovereign World, full e-commerce enabled website has been commissioned and work on its development is almost complete.


Christian Ebook Innovation - Try Before You Buy!

This new Sovereign World website will also include the facility to download ’try before you buy’ digital E-Book versions of Sovereign Titles. Thus in much the same way as one browses books in a conventional offline book store, before making a decision whether to buy or not, one may simply download a trial Ebook version of a title and read a few pages to ascertain whether or not it suits the reader’s needs before making a purchase at the click of a mouse.

Website Launch Schedule and Opening Christian Book Sale

The new Sovereign World Ltd website is scheduled for launch by the 21st July 2006. This will also feature a 10-day ’Grand Opening Christian Book Sale’ which is programmed to run until the end of the month. According to Peter Horrobin the new Chairman of Sovereign World, they also intend to run a “A pretty unusual opening offer, which will quite possibly be breaking new ground as well as being a great deal for Christian book lovers”.
