Excess Baggage Company, one of the UK’s leading providers of international shipping services, has been named by TNT Magazine readers as their top shipping provider at the publication’s prestigious Golden Backpack award ceremony in London.
 
The company beat competition from rival firms and fellow finalists Anglo Pacific, Pickfords, PSS International Removals and 1st Contact to pick up the favourite shipping provider award, which was presented - along with a total of 31 other prizes - as part of a glitzy ceremony at the Shaka Zulu bar in Camden at the end of October.
 
The Golden Backpack awards, which are voted for by TNT Magazine readers via live and online campaigns, recognise the cream of the crop in providing a range of services for the adventure, backpacking and youth travel market.

To celebrate its success at the Golden Backpack awards, Excess Baggage Company is offering a 10 per cent freight charge discount for all customers who choose us for their shipping needs. However, this offer only applies to quotes generated before Saturday December 1st – so if you want to make a saving, you’ll need to get your skates on.
 
Also, in order to be eligible for the discount you’ll need to make sure you book within five days of receiving the quote. The discount is available for both sea and air freight, and applies to the freight charge only, so courier collection, standard liability, crating and courier carton delivery are not included.
