Thousands check out new online video from Parcel2Go

Bolton-based online parcel delivery specialist Parcel2Go has released its latest online video via YouTube.
 
The 30-second, tongue-in-cheek ad follows a man as he finds out how simple it is to book a parcel delivery service online, and then starts emptying his home in a bid to find items to pack up – even the family dog looks like it’s about to get shipped off.
 
So far the video has been watched by almost 6,000 people, and is helping to spread the word about how quick and easy it really is to arrange for packages to be picked up for delivery by a professional courier company.
 
Richard Mercer, marketing director at Parcel2Go, said: "We’ve brought out similar videos in the past and we thought this would be a fun way of reminding people ahead of the Christmas rush how simple it is to send parcels within the UK, and to addresses abroad, now that everything can be handled online.
 
“Along with our Facebook and Twitter accounts, the YouTube channel is another source through which we engage with customers and bring them news about everything from Parcel2Go courier services and the latest special offers, to hints and tips about sending parcels abroad. We’re delighted the latest short video has been watched so many times in only a few days.”
 
Other videos and online guides from Parcel2Go have proved to be just as popular. A TV commercial which originally aired in 2007, and was published via YouTube in July, has now been watched more than 57,000 times. A guide on how to get a quick quote online, select a courier service and use Parcel2Go parcel tracking has also proved popular, pulling in more than 10,700 views so far.
