EMSL Analytical Introduces New Easy To Use Bed Bug Test Kit

EMSL Analytical has created a bed bug testing kit to simplify the process of bed bug identification for pest control professionals. Our new testing kit includes easy-to-follow instructions for taking samples of the suspected pests, making it easy to detect and identify bed bugs.

Bed bugs feed exclusively on warm-blooded animals, including human, typically when they sleep. They have been detected in a variety of places such as hotels, offices, apartments, and houses. The pests only grow to a size of 4 to 5 millimeters making them difficult to detect, but EMSL’s bed bug test kit makes it easy to identify them.

After sampling is performed with the bed bug testing kit, a bed bug data sheet is filled out and should be submitted with any samples. The sample and bed bug data sheet is then sent back in a postage paid envelope to our advanced DNA testing laboratory.  A laboratory report is then provided after the laboratory performs testing. Results can be received the same day the samples are received in the laboratory if needed.
