Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Inaugural Leadership Day

WEBWIRE

CINCINNATI, OH, November 8, 2012 – The US Central Region of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization hosted its first- ever Leadership Day in Cincinnati, Ohio on Wednesday, October 17th and Thursday, October 18th.  Open exclusively to EO members in the region who presently or in the past held a position of leadership with EO, Leadership Day focused on helping these entrepreneurs further discover their path to leadership.

The event was led by Warren Rustand, the guru of leadership learning in EO.  Rustand has established himself as a leader of leaders through his experience as a former NBA player, White House scholar and appointment secretary to Gerald Ford.  He’s been on speed dial with every President since.  He also served as CEO or Chairman of 17 companies and on the Board of Directors for 50 public, private and not-for-profit organizations.

EO leaders attending Leadership Day heard from Scott Offerdahl, a member of the organization who has made it his mission to travel the world sharing his belief about entrepreneurs being a force—maybe THE force—for driving positive change in the world.  Offerdahl instilled this concept with attendees in his presentation titled, “Living Legacy”.

Leadership Day also included a breakout session with Intrigue Expert and author of POP!, Sam Horn.  She worked with the group of attendees to help them discover their creativity and generate commercially viable ideas (Equity Ideas) that people will gladly pay for or make a positive difference for others.
Leadership Day 2012 was rated a 9.5 on a scale of 10, which has the EO Leadership Committee working quickly to schedule dates for Leadership Days in 2013.
