Net Insight receives its first order from Norkring amounting to 20 MSEK, and NTV has now formally received the concession for digital TV in Norway

7/11/2006, Net Insight has received a first order from Norkring for delivery of equipment to the Norwegian digital terrestrial TV network. The order has an order value of approximately 20 MSEK, and deliveries will start during the fourth quarter.

Net Insight announced on May 22 that a frame agreement had been signed with Norkring regarding delivery of equipment to the transport network for the Norwegian digital terrestrial TV network. The frame agreement concerns the delivery of 400-700 Net Insight Nimbra nodes during 2-3 years. The frame agreement was subject to that the concession would be given to NTV for digital broadcasting and that they would give the assignment to Norkring to build and operate the Norwegian digital terrestrial TV network.

The concession for digital terrestrial TV in Norway was given to NTV (Norway´s television AS), owned by NRK, TV2 and Telenor, in the beginning of June. NTV has now given the assignment to Norkring to build the digital terrestrial TV network.
