TietoEnator and DNA sign letter of intent regarding outsourcing of telecom services

11 July 2006, TietoEnator and the Finnish mobile operator DNA have signed a letter of intent regarding outsourcing of value added content and IP-based services. According to the partnership agreement TietoEnator will take over DNA’s existing complementary services partner business processes, and services-related IT systems. TietoEnator will also cooperate with DNA in the development of new services. The final agreement will be signed in August, 2006.

The agreement includes a three year service contract estimated at EUR 5-7 million. The operations and development of the services would be outsourced to TietoEnator’s business area Telecom & Media, and be performed in a new service center with resources from both companies.

Outsourcing parts of our service development and management to TietoEnator will ensure that we have a roadmap for new attractive services in the coming years and also that our value added services are performed as efficiently as possible, ”says Tommy Olenius, CTO, DNA.
