Hans Von Der Heyde Launches Low Cost Plastic Profile Cutting Machine

– Cape Town precision engineering company, Hans von der Heyde (HvdH), has launched a low cost cutting machine perfected for processing plastic profiles.

“The MA-Go is an ideal entry-level model equipped with established and proven technology that not only provides high precision cuts, but also high speeds for fast cutting actions. It is ideal for the cutting of plastic profiles and similar products,” said a company spokesperson recently.

Designed and developed to meet the growing demand for efficient, affordable and flexible downstream extrusion equipment, the durable yet lightweight MA-Go features an innovative modular design that has been integrated into the entire HvdH machine product range. The versatile cutting machine can consequently function as a standalone unit or can be incorporated into the production stream with ease.

Weighing in at only 91 kg and manufactured from high tensile strength corrosion free aluminium profiles, the MA-Go is marketed with a driver conveyor capable of impressive feed and haul-off speeds. Optional extras include an input guide and exit conveyor.

A range of intelligent extensions have been designed to optimise the machines’ functionally and capabilities. Custom made for the perfect fit, the MA-Go cabinet enables easy mobility and includes spacious storage shelves. The through-put control has been developed to synchronise all in-line equipment for a fast and efficient production stream. An extension table capable of accommodating up to two punching tools or a punching tool, printer head combination advances the machines’ flexible versatility in the production process.

The MA-Go is the latest addition to an extensive machine range that features the smart modular design. Manufactured to European standards in Germany, the range comprises mechanical and laser cutting machines, coiling machines, laser printing machines and auxiliary equipment such as multifunctional carts, packaging assistants and delivery rollers.
