Colorado Springs, CO – Sandy Bobal-Zuniga, a 41-year-old recent breast cancer survivor from Colorado, is helping women heal, survive and thrive after their breast cancer diagnosis as she finds and shares solutions and resources to empower women.

Sandy Bobal-Zuniga was originally diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in May of 2012.  A month later, after a holistic intervention, a second biopsy revealed that she was at Stage 2, which required a mastectomy and chemotherapy to vanquish the last of the cancer cells that might be floating around in her body. “At first, I was just devastated!” she shares. “But then I thought, ‘Nothing takes me down without a fight!’”

She began sharing her story as a breast cancer resource in July 2012 to cut through the clutter and provide helpful, personal, and well-researched information to other breast cancer patients. In just a few short months, this resource has become a forum for breast cancer patients, survivors and their supporters from Wisconsin to the Netherlands.
