Marvell CEO Dr. Sehat Sutardja Named Inventor of the Year

Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association Recognizes Dr. Sehat Sutardja for Outstanding Technical and Intellectual Contributions

Santa Clara, California, (July 5, 2006) — Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL), the leader in storage, communications and consumer silicon solutions, today announced that Dr. Sehat Sutardja, Chairman, President and CEO of Marvell Technology Group, has been selected as the Inventor of the Year by the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association (SVIPLA). Dr. Sutardja was chosen for this award because of his outstanding technical and intellectual contributions to high-speed mixed-signal/digital signal processing solutions for the storage, communications and consumer electronics markets.
