The story of BooBoo Kids begins with 4-year old Sydnie, who broke her arm jumping on the sofa. Upon hearing the news, Sydnie’s aunt and founder of BooBoo Kids, Therese Andjeski, began looking for a surprise get well t-shirt for her wounded niece. To her amazement, nothing of the sort existed!  An entrepreneur by trade, Therese partnered with long-time colleague Barb Gee to create a unique and fun line of get well t-shirts for kids suffering from all kinds of common, yet always unexpected, injuries, including broken bones, stitches, bumps and bruises. 

What started as a charming idea has hatched into a successful business model with shirts sold in hospital gift stores throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. The concept, now only a year old, has inspired Therese and Barb to extend sales nationwide through their website, boobookids.com
