The new Range Rover debuts at this month’s Frankfurt Motor Show

This year, Land Rover will add another model to its range of luxury SUVs – the all-new Range Rover for 2012. The British manufacturer will debut the model at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month, with the general release of the vehicle in the UK and Northern Ireland following shortly afterwards. Drivers in Scotland can choose the new model from the Pentland Land Rover dealership in Edinburgh.
 
The Frankfurt Motor Show will be held from September 20th to 27th, and Land Rover intends to fully showcase the new Range Rover at the biennial event. The model is already in high demand amongst UK motorists, with Land Rover dealers throughout the network reporting a substantial number of pre-orders.
 
Instantly recognisable as a Land Rover, the fourth-generation Range Rover model features subtle differences and accents that add contemporary style. The iconic shape includes LED lights at the front and rear, alloy wheels in a wide choice of sizes, and a newly redesigned grille.
 
In updating the Range Rover, the manufacturer has also made the SUV more lightweight and agile. The cabin has been designed to provide the most comfort and space, with discreet storage spaces and full leather upholstery. The refined style and performance of the model are supported by a new and powerful engine, which includes the manufacturer’s Start/Stop technology to drastically increase the vehicle’s fuel economy. As the new Range Rover also boasts a higher ground clearance, it demonstrates the simple adaptability of a high-quality SUV, and can wade easily through up to 900mm of water.
