Roland Comtois to host Sixth Annual After Loss Conference

STAMFORD, CT – (SEPTEMBER 2012) If there is one emotion that ties us all together, and at that same time makes us feel alone, frightened and vulnerable, it is grief. Grief is devastating, overwhelming and unsettling, often manifesting as a mélange of feelings that have the power to overwhelm us with sadness and despair, even anger. For all of us, it is a normal and natural, often painful, response to loss, one that each of us expresses and experiences differently. And while grief in itself is a process that takes time for the healing to begin, there are many supportive resources available to help us cope with the devastating effects of loss and to move forward with hope and compassion.

Roland Comtois, author of And Then There Was Heaven: A Journey of Hope and Love, and a best-selling inspirational speaker, has spent his lifetime helping others with their grief through spiritual teachings, inspirational presentation and counseling sessions. Now he is bringing together area traditional and holistic practitioners and after-loss resources in a one-day FREE After-Loss Conference Event at the Stamford Plaza Hotel at 2701 Summer Street in Stamford, Connecticut on October 13, 2012 from 9:30 am to 5 pm.

“Taking care of yourself is essential to your health and well-being,” said Roland, who explains that it is especially important for grieving souls. ”Now, that I am a grieving soul, since my mother’s passing ten months ago, I truly understand the need for support and self-care.” Roland goes on to say “this Conference will give people the tools and support they need to move through their grief, release their pain and reclaim their lives after suffering a loss. We are honored that so many noted experts and practitioners are volunteering their time and services to those who need it most during this Conference. We hope to help hundreds of people on October 13, who in turn can pass it forward and help hundreds and hundreds more.”

The event will begin at 9:30AM with a welcome by Roland Comtois and a harmonics opening ceremony conducted by Joan Emmons and Ron Damico of Ron and Joan, LLP, including a Channeled Grace Healing Circle with Theresa Joseph and Linda Fallo-Mitchell. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear Roland speak and offer messages for hope and love at two free keynote presentations at 10:40 AM and 4:15 PM, experience firsthand the healing benefits of Reiki from volunteer practitioners, meet therapists trained in grief and healthy relationships, and learn about the role of harmonics and energy work, along with various other tools and resources available today.

A special Panel Discussion entitled “Life After Death, Is Love Eternal” with Roland Comtois and special guests, Sheri Perl, Saundra Cindy Blum and others will offer personal experiences with grief, tools for self-care and field questions from the audience.
