Rocklin Dentist, Franck Family Dental Announces 2012 Scholarship Award to Whitney High School Graduating Senior Sierra Dietrick

Rocklin, California - Leading Rocklin Dentist, Franck Family Dental announced its second annual scholarship award. The award was presented to Ms. Sierra Dietrick at the 5th annual Senior Awards Ceremony held at Whitney High School in Rocklin, California.  

At the awards ceremony, Whitney High School celebrates the student valedictorians, military awards, and scholarship winners. Students are recognized who were exceptional students and athletes while attending Whitney High School. 

Ms. Dietrick was honored at the ceremony and received a $500 scholarship from Dr. Kasi Franck of Franck Family Dental. While attending Whitney High School, Ms. Dietrick maintained a 4.0 GPA, and participated in the 49er ROP Health Careers Program. 

Ms. Dietrick will be attending Sierra Junior College majoring in nursing. She plans to earn an Associates of Science Degree and then transfer to the University of Nevada, Reno nursing program. Ms. Dietrick’s goal is to become a trauma flight nurse. 

Rocklin Dentist Dr. Kasi Franck appreciates the opportunity to participate in Whitney High School’s 2012 Assist-A-Grad program. “I really want to help a deserving student reach their goal of attending college.  When I was a graduating high school senior I remember how community members provided scholarships for me. I was very thankful for those scholarships that helped to buy books and pay for tuition. I am grateful today to be in a position where I can provide the same support in the form of a scholarship to a graduating high school student starting college.”

The Assist-A-Grad program at Whitney High School in Rocklin California provides scholarship opportunities for students who are continuing on in their educational pursuits.
