About Dr. Loretta Breuning
Dr. Breuning is retired from California State University, East Bay where she taught for 20 years. Her popular blogs on Psychology Today led her to write the book “Meet Your Happy Chemicals.” A webinar based on the book is now hosted on www.familyiqschool.com.
In addition to “Meet Your Happy Chemicals,” she has also written “I, Mammal: Why Your Brain Links Status and Happiness,” and “Greaseless: How to Thrive without Bribes in Developing Countries.”
Dr. Breuning lives in California with her husband and two grown children. She is a docent at the Oakland Zoo, where she gives tours about mammalian social behavior.
