Redline’s RedMAX products are proving that today’s WiMAX products deliver the services and flexibility that operators need to introduce the advanced applications their customers want now. Redline highlights the deployment of its wireless broadband network for UK’s Southern Trains with a panel entitled: “Creating Mobile BWA Networks: European Trains as a WiMAX-WiFi Case Study”. The panel, anchored by Kevin Suitor, Redline’s Vice President Business Development, and moderator Monica Paolini, Principal, Senza Fili Consulting, will discuss this exciting project, along with special guest speakers Shimon Dahan, Strategic Alliance Business Development Manager, Cisco Systems and Dr. Nigel Wallbridge, Executive Chairman, Nomad Digital Ltd.

RedMAX deployments growing worldwide
Also today, Redline announced the selection of its RedMAX products by Chunghwa Telecom of Taiwan for the first phase of its WiMAX and Wi-Fi access network in Taiwan. Chunghwa Telecom is using Redline’s WiMAX Forum Certified™ RedMAX Base Station (AN-100U) and RedMAX Outdoor Subscriber Unit (SU-O) to connect multiple Wi-Fi zones in urban centers throughout Taiwan.

Redline’s RedMAX products have been chosen by carriers in International markets for nation-wide deployments and network trials. Among the first to install RedMAX for a nation-wide network is Hrvatske Telekomunikacije d.d (T-HT), a Croatian telecommunications company owned by Deutsche Telecom, Crowley Data of Poland, Teledata Mozambique, and by Integrated Telecom Company Ltd.
