NAVTEQ and Roscartographia (Russian Federal Agency for Geodesy and Cartography) Solidify Relationship

Chicago, IL–June 27, 2006 – NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, and Roscartographia (The Russian Federal Agency for Geodesy and Cartography) have executed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation to support the growth of the digital map industry in Russia. The memorandum acknowledges a mutual desire to promote the industry and raise awareness of the wide uses of digital map applications.
