Glacier Car Rental prepares for summer rush in Iceland

REYKJAVIK, ICELAND - 18.06.2012 - Leading car rental company Glacier Car Rental is preparing for the summer rush in Iceland, replacing its older vehicles with brand new models, offering its customers everything from a Toyota Yaris to a Land Rover Defender.

The car rental company has also expanded its fleet of cars with the addition of two 4x4 models – Land Rover Defender and Jeep Wrangler. In addition, Glacier recently added more Suzuki Jimnys to its fleet in response to demand from customers; the Jimny was also the most popular rental choice amongst visitors last year.
 
Furthermore, Glacier Car Rental has moved its operations to new premises in Suðurhella, Hafnarfjörður. The new building has allowed Glacier to rapidly grow its activities and operations due to its size and location. Additionally, the new location is closer to Keflavik International Airport, which allows Glacier to provide a more convenient service to its customers arriving at the airport.
 
This summer, Glacier is also offering its customers various discounts depending on rental duration. For 7-14 day rentals, the customer receives a 10% discount, for 14-21 day, a 15% discount, and for over 21 days, a 20% discount.
