Difference between gym memberships and personal fitness trainers.


Personal fitness training and coaching has come a long way from the start of the neighborhood gym. Interviews with the trainers and staff revealed a genuine positive energy and attitude at Buffalo Personal Fitness Trainers.  Their facility does seem to provide a unique experience.  There is what might be expected in the way of exercise equipment.  Some of it however is unique and not what might be found in a standard gym.  The main thing that stands out is the amount of trainers and coaches that are there, working with clients.  It appears that every client has his or her own personal trainer there with them, even though Buccieri reports that, "A client is free to come by anytime during operating hours to workout without his or her coach present.”  

The second issue that stood out about Buffalo Personal Fitness Trainers is their focus on nutrition.  As might be expected, most gyms hire thin looking people.  However, the staff at Buffalo Personal Fitness Trainers are more than thin, they appear fit, healthy, and actually happy. 

After several interviews, it became clear that the attitude of the staff is genuinely positive and sincere.  There is an upbeat energy from the entryway to the workout area.  It did feel different than the environment of commercial gyms.
