Strategic Wealth Designers Celebrates 10 Years Serving Kentuckiana

LOUISVILLE, KY (June 2012)–Strategic Wealth Designers (SWD) celebrates its ten year milestone!  Since its inception in 2002, SWD has quadrupled their employee roster and doubled their office space.
 
Founder & CEO of Strategic Wealth Designers, Matt Dicken, has been in the financial planning industry since 1997. Five of those years were with a major financial services company before starting SWD. Matt founded SWD with one thing in mind, “to help people”, he says.  “With so many people struggling to have a successful retirement, we wanted to show the public that there is a different way of doing things, we wanted to show them a new direction”.
 
Dicken entered the local media scene back in March of 2010 with the launch of “The Matt Dicken Show” which broadcasts every Saturdays, 11:05 a.m. to Noon, on Talk Radio 1080 WKJK, in Louisville, KY.  Dicken educates and entertains thousands of listeners every week with useful financial strategies, guidance, and an array of special guests from the financial industry.
 
Earlier this year, Matt Dicken added TV Host to his resume.  In March 2012, Strategic Wealth with Matt Dicken launched on Sundays at 10 a.m. on WHAS11-TV (ABC).  The show covers timely topics, offers financial tips, takes questions from the community and provides information for retirees and pre-retirees about investing and retirement planning.
 
With the 10 year anniversary of SWD imminent, Dicken also wanted to add one more project, a new book!   Retirement Planning in a New Direction, is Matt’s first book, but not first publication.  “Both the TV & radio shows are a great resource for those seeking retirement advice, but we had a tremendous demand for a one stop shop that explains in detail what it is that we do that is so successful for our clients, so I wrote a book on it.” Dicken says. Retirement Planning in a New Direction will be released in late summer 2012.
 
Since 2005, Matt Dicken has educated over 10,000 consumers at his seminars but it doesn’t stop there. “We want to help as many people as we can have a successful retirement.  Too many people are struggling.  The banks, the brokers, and Wall Street are all doing fine, but we are here to protect average Americans who have found themselves ready for retirement but unsure of the correct path to take,” Dicken says.
