Fujifilm Joins Popular “Designing Spaces" Television Show, Bringing Photography to Home Decorating

WEBWIRE

Valhalla, N.Y., June 7, 2012 – Using family photography can be a fun and creative way to add warmth and personality to interior decorating, and FUJIFILM North America Corporation is excited to show families how they can use photography to decorate their homes.

Working together on an episode of “Designing Spaces” airing on Lifetime this June and July, Fujifilm representative Stacey Moore helps a family take fun pictures at a local zoo and then use those images to decorate the family’s home.

“We all want to take great pictures, and with a little guidance, everyone can capture special family memories and then use those images to bring a personalized touch to home decorating, especially in kids’ rooms,” said Stacey Moore, Field Sales training manager, Electronic Imaging Division, FUJIFILM North America Corporation. Moore was on-site showing the “Designing Spaces” team how to use personal pictures to decorate.

During the episode, Moore and the family use three different FUJIFILM digital cameras for an adventure at the zoo: Dad uses the DSLR- styled FUJIFILM X-S1 that features a 26X optical zoom lens, Mom uses the stylish, pocket-sized long zoom FinePix F660EXR, and the son uses the rugged waterproof outdoor FinePix XP100 digital camera. All cameras make taking pictures fun and easy, while delivering fantastic high-resolution image results.

FUJIFILM X-S1 used by Dad
The FUJIFILM X-S1 features a large 2/3” 12 megapixel EXR CMOS sensor and a newly-developed, bright all glass and high-definition FUJINON F2.8 Wide-Angle to F5.6 telephoto lens with an ultra-smooth 26x manual zoom (24-624mm). The FUJINON lens consists of 17 glass lens elements in 12 groups, to offer amazing clarity and high resolution through the entire image. The X-S1, which received the 2012 TIPA award for Best Superzoom, is the ideal “all-in-one” camera because it offers all of the benefits of a DSLR system in a single camera and lens body.

FinePix F660EXR used by Mom
The FinePix F660EXR uses the FUJINON 15x Super Wide-Angle optical zoom lens that produces vivid, high resolution images, from 24mm wide-angle to 360mm telephoto and delivers incredible high speed continuous shooting (up to 11fps) to help capture perfect images in every situation thanks to its advanced EXR-CMOS sensor. The F660EXR also has a Super Macro Mode that allows sharp focusing down to 5cm delivering the most brilliant detail possible.

FinePix XP100 used by Son
The FinePix XP100 digital camera takes rugged protection and durability to a whole new level. The XP100 is Waterproof to 32.8ft (10M) and Shockproof to 6.5ft (2M), Freezeproof to 14°F (-10°C) and Dustproof, which makes it the ideal family camera for every adventure. The XP100 features the powerful and performance-driven 14-MegaPixel CMOS sensor, a 2.7” anti-reflective, high-contrast LCD for clear viewing even in direct sunlight, and the high-precision, FUJINON 5x wide angle optical zoom lenses (28-140mm) with a reinforced hardened glass lens barrier and water repellent coating.

To view the episode and learn how to incorporate family photography into your home decorating, tune into the Lifetime network at 7:30AM (ET\PT) on Thursday, June 7 or at 7:30AM (ET\PT) on Friday, July 6.
