Decas Cranberry Products - A Family Success Story

THE DECAS STORY started over 65 years ago, when three newly immigrated brothers from Greece developed a fascination for the uniquely American berry. They purchased a number of cranberry bogs, and soon became a major grower, processor and marketer of their own Premium Cape Cod Cranberries.
Today, Decas Cranberry Products not only owns more than 500 acres of bogs, but also markets cranberries nationally and internationally for over 200 cranberry growers in Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Oregon. As one of the leading purveyors of cranberries worldwide, Decas supplies 40-50 million pounds of Premium Cranberries and Cranberry Products to consumers, retailers, food processors and other customers each year.

AT DECAS, we market and sell our cranberries as ingredients to food processors, commercial bakers, bottlers and other companies in the food industry. And they are now available in a wide range of products:

Bulk Fruit. Decas has been the primary source of bulk cranberries to Independent juice processors for over 40 years. These berries are available fresh during the harvest season (September 15 - November 15) or frozen year-round.

Concentrate. Our Cape Cod Cranberry Concentrate is used primarily by juice manufacturers for a wide variety of cranberry and cranberry blended products.
Frozen Whole and Sliced. Available year round, our Paradise Meadow® IQF sliced cranberries are perfect for the foodservice and in-store/retail baking industries. Because they’re individually quick frozen, these sliced and whole berries are free flowing, easy to use, and well-suited for all kinds of baking applications.

Premium Sweetened Dried Cranberries. Also available year round, our sweetened dried cranberries contain no artificial color, flavor or preservatives and are available in a wide array of sizes, moistures and specifications, designed to meet our customers’ needs. They’re used in a growing number of products in both food processing and baking and are perfect for snacking.

90% Powder. Available in 100 lb. or 25 Kg units, this high-quality, free-flowing powder is used as a dietary supplement or as a food and beverage ingredient. Unlike some powders on the market, this product is manufactured exclusively from pure cranberry concentrate with no added press cake or fruit fiber. Very high in phenolics.
