FRG Corporation signs distribution agreement with Welch Allyn for its line of automated external defibrillators.
FRG Corp, today announced a distribution agreement with Welch Allyn, the manufacturer of the AED 10 automated external defibrillator. This is the latest addition to their already extensive line of safety training services.
According to Rick Goodrick, President of FRG Corp. “We chose to work with Welch Allyn for several reasons but mainly because the AED 10 is compact, easy to use and overall has the lowest cost of ownership in the industry.” “It is virtually impossible to predict when and where someone will be when sudden cardiac arrest occurs, and we wanted to ensure that the public would have access to purchasing an AED for themselves, their companies, churches and organizations.”
According to the American Red Cross, defibrillation has the most life-saving potential when administered within four minutes of cardiac arrest. If a victim has to wait for a defibrillator-equipped ambulance to arrive on the scene, his or her chances of survival drop by 10 percent each minute of the delay.
FRG Corp. provides a wide range of consulting services as well as functional training program design and development. FRG Corp.’s Safety training services include specialized training to organizations on a variety of safety-related subjects such as: CPR, AED, First Responder, Right to Know, Hearing Conservation, Personal Protective Equipment, Emergency Evacuation and even Disaster and Terrorism Preparedness for the home.
