Verizon Business Helps iBAHN Quadruple Capacity of Its High-Speed Network

Secure Private IP Network Enables iBAHN to Deliver Advanced Broadband Services to Hotels and Conference Centers at Nearly 1,000 Locations Nationwide

June 21, 2006, BASKING RIDGE, N.J. - Verizon Business announced today that iBAHN, a leading worldwide provider of secure wired and wireless broadband services for hoteliers and meeting organizers, will greatly expand the capacity of its Verizon Business Private IP Network. Verizon Business has installed multiple high-speed, high-capacity Private IP network connections, with bandwidth port speeds of up to OC12, quadrupling iBAHN’s capacity and enabling hotel guests and staff, as well as meeting planners, to benefit from enhanced service quality.

This installation makes iBAHN Verizon Business’ largest Private IP customer in the hospitality market and one of its largest Private IP customers overall. “By deepening its relationship with Verizon Business, iBAHN is now delivering advanced services to hospitality providers and their end-users, knowing that they will be reliable and kept secure,” said Steve Young, group president for Verizon Business corporate accounts. “Verizon Business is helping iBAHN meet increased demand from hotel and meeting planner customers while helping to make quality broadband services a reality for traveling professionals.”
