Multimeter-Reviews.net’s newest product, the Multimeter XIV has doubled the accuracy and precision of measurements from its previous high-end models. The device features enhanced digital algorithms with an FPGA board for onboard processing and analysis of currents, voltage, amperage, resistance and capacitance.

Featuring an advanced D’Arsonval meter movement, the device is pushing the limits of modern multimeter technology by adding two extra micro-magnets and one extra coil. These additions are designed to boost the accuracy of precision at both the high and low ends of electric current measurement by amplifying the signal strength without compromising calculations by adding extraneous resistance. While still using the standard methods of passing DC and AC current through circuits, the return currents from the circuitry are now passed into the new and enhanced D’Arsonval meter movement and run through an onboard FPGA board before being displayed onto the LCD display.

Inside the FPGA board are tens of thousands of lines of code which have been carefully programmed and tested for the utmost precision. FPGA boards are designed for fast and precise calculations without requiring any user interaction. Previously calculations to the 8th degree had to be done by using a computer, but now they are done internally with an almost unrivaled speed.

The Multimeter is specially designed for use by electric engineers specializing in advanced computer circuitry. The extra precision and onboard processing allows the freedom of mind to trust the multimeter reading without having to spend additional hours on a computer to refine measurements to the 8th degree. This product also has the ability to be used by either battery operation or through a wall plug-in, allowing the user to move it freely around his or her workspace. With a size of 20cm wide by 10cm tall and 40cm in length, the multimeter is smaller than previous models as well.
