History

Kirby Sommers, a Manhattan based real estate broker, created Landlord Links in 2005, using the same business model she developed with Katrina Home Drive (which she also founded).

Landlord Links is not a membership website where rental information is often outdated before members begin their apartment search.

LandlordLinks.Net charges the apartment seeker an average of $35 for a one-time purchase of landlord data. The ’links’ in Landlord Links take users directly to landlords’ apartment listings enabling renters to bypass brokers and their fees.

The decision not to rely on landlords or property managers for income allows the company to exclude less than desirable landlords and focus their efforts on their target audience: renters.
