Network North Star Holds 7th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference on June 20-21

ROCHESTER, NY, June 15 -- Network North Star, an employee resource group for African American employees at Kodak, will hold its 7th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference on June 20-21 at Crowne Plaza hotel on State Street. The conference theme is “Succeeding Amidst Corporate Change - Be Comfortable, Be Capable, Be Viable, Be Visible.”

The conference includes 10 workshops and three panel discussions led by Kodak and community leaders, administrators and entrepreneurs. Food and entertainment provided. Members of the public may register to attend the conference online (for a fee) at www.plan2attend.com/KD060017/NetworkNorthStar.

Highlights of the event include:

* Pre-Conference Event: Tuesday, June 20, 4:00pm-7:00 pm, 200 Ridge Rd West (Kodak Building 28, Theatre on the Ridge) - Featuring a panel discussion on “Straight Talk – Women in the Executive Suite,” led by Essie Calhoun, Chief Diversity Officer and Director, Community Affairs, and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. Kodak products and new initiatives will also be on display.
* Women’s Leadership Conference: Wednesday, June 21, 7:30am-5:00pm, Crowne Plaza Hotel. The Keynote Speaker is Leecia Eve , Founder and Chair "Show Up New York.” Leecia Roberta Eve, former Counsel to Senator Hilary Rodham Clinton, is the Founder and Chairperson of Just Show Up, an organization dedicated to engaging New Yorkers in the voting process. She is a former Vice President of the Minority Bar Association of Western New York and is a member of The LINKS Incorporated and of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Cost of the conference for Kodak and non-Kodak employees is $60 for full two-day registration; $20 for Pre-Conference Only, $50 for Women’s Leadership Conference Only.
